Oriheal Opthovet T (5ml) is a prescription-only, high-efficiency veterinary antibiotic ophthalmic solution formulated to eliminate external bacterial infections of the eye and surrounding tissues in dogs and cats. The active pharmaceutical ingredient is Tobramycin (0.3% w/v), suspended in a sterile aqueous vehicle.

Tobramycin is a potent, water-soluble aminoglycoside antibiotic. It delivers rapid bactericidal action by irreversibly binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria, completely disrupting protein synthesis and causing cell death. It is highly effective against a wide array of Gram-negative pathogens (including difficult strains like Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus, and E. coli) as well as many Gram-positive Staphylococci. In companion animal medicine, Opthovet T is a first-line clinical choice for treating bacterial conjunctivitis, blepharitis (eyelid inflammation), and keratitis. Because this formula contains no corticosteroids, it is entirely safe to use on scratched corneas, surface abrasions, or active corneal ulcers to prevent opportunistic bacterial colonization and ensure clean tissue recovery.
