Corise Opthocare Peta (5ml) is a specialized veterinary antihistamine and mast cell stabilizer ophthalmic solution formulated to treat environmental, seasonal, and mixed allergic conjunctivitis in dogs and cats. The active pharmaceutical ingredient, Olopatadine Hydrochloride USP (0.1% w/v), provides dual-action therapeutic relief by stabilizing localized mast cells to prevent the release of inflammatory mediators and selectively blocking histamine H1 receptors on the ocular surface.
To maintain sterile integrity throughout its use, the solution is preserved with Benzalkonium Chloride Solution IP (0.02% v/v) in a soothing, sterile aqueous vehicle. When companion animals are exposed to environmental triggers like dust, pollen, or mold, their immune response triggers a cascade of discomfort. Opthocare Peta acts rapidly to inhibit this mechanism, relieving severe ocular itching, swelling, conjunctival redness, and excessive watery discharge. Applied topically under veterinary guidance, it offers an effective alternative to systemic corticosteroids for allergy flares, restoring comfort and eye clarity.
