FUR by Entod Furfresh (10ml) is a sterile, premium veterinary ophthalmic lubricating solution designed to provide rapid relief from dryness, corneal irritation, and environmental discomfort in dogs and cats. The core active pharmaceutical ingredient is Sodium Hyaluronate (0.18% w/v), sterilely prepared in an aqueous, pH-balanced, viscoelastic vehicle. It is also available in a highly concentrated, long-lasting topical formulation as Furfresh Eye Gel (10g) for extended relief.
Sodium Hyaluronate is a naturally occurring biopolymer that mimics the natural tear film. Thanks to its remarkable viscoelastic properties, the solution adapts dynamically to eye movement—becoming fluid and lubricating during a blink to prevent friction, and forming a stable, moisture-locking protective shield over the cornea while the eye is at rest. It binds effectively to the ocular surface, physically flushing out dust, wind-blown debris, and allergens while stabilizing an unstable tear film. Unlike medicated antibiotic or steroid drops, Furfresh is non-medicated and completely safe for routine hygiene. It is highly valued by veterinary clinicians for treating Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca (KCS / Dry Eye), protecting the eyes of brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds prone to exposure keratitis, and maintaining moisture in animals undergoing surgery or managing prosthetic implants.
